CACTUS MISSION STATEMENT

Cactus began as a Conservative Women’s Discussion Group that met for lunch once a month. Since the primary was coming up we got involved in working to elect Conservatives. However, the candidates we worked for did not win, partly due to the fact that we were up against many candidates who had a lot of money, partly because we did not have enough grassroots help to get the word out about our excellent candidates. After the general election on Nov 2 we are faced with the fact that we live in one of the most liberal states in the Union.
Our goal is to get the word out to Democrats and Independents who share our traditional values, especially Hispanics and African-Americans.  This web site is designed to educate those who vote Democrat who don’t realize they’re really Conservatives.
